<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a minimum turning radius and to provide a vehicle capable of making a small sharp turn even at a limited place in a house and having excellent facility. SOLUTION: This steering mechanism for a vehicle steers a pair of steering wheels W arranged opposite to each other in the direction of a car width and at the front of a chassis 2. This steering mechanism comprises a steering rod 31 erected rotatably around own axis at the central part in the direction of the width of the chassis 2, an operation lever 34 to effect rotation operation of the steering rod 31, and a steering mechanism 4 to change the direction of a pair of steering wheels through rotation around the axis of the steering rod 31. This steering mechanism 4 increases the degree of variation of the direction of the steering wheel W on the inner wheel side to a value higher than the degree of variation of the direction of the steering wheel W on the outer wheel side.</p> |
