PURPOSE:To abate a vibration level in a cabin and an equipment room deck, by setting a distance between transverse bulkheads of a marine vessel having a maximum superstructure to be almost equal to an internodal distance of hull vibration, and setting up the transverse bulkhead in a nodal position of the hull vibration. CONSTITUTION:At initial stages of a design, arrangement of a transverse bulkhead 3 supporting a maximum superstructure 2 of a marine vessel is determined out of the vibro-isating standpoint. That is to say, an internodal distance l2 and an interwall distance l2 of hull vibration are set to be almost equal to each other. Along with this, the transverse bulkhead 3 is set up in a nodal position of the hull vibration. Therefore, according to this hull structure, even if vibration in the hull 1 becomes yet larger due to resonance, vibro-transmission to the superstructure is prevented from occurring. With this constitution, a vibration level in the superstructure and a cabin and an equipment room deck inside the superstructure is abatable.
