PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which has sufficient light transmittance, is excellent in ink absorbency, dryability of an ink, blocking resistance and adherence to a base material, and can be suitably used as a surface coating material for a recorded material. CONSTITUTION:The composition consists of a copolymer emulsion (A) comprising an aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of 2.0-5.0mol% ethylenically unsaturated phosphoric ester, for example, diphenyl-2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphate with 95.0-98.0mol% acrylic monomer, for example, n-butyl acrylate or methyl methacrylate and a water-soluble polymer (B), for example, polyvinyl alcohol in an amount of 100-150 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. solids of component A. |
