LUBRICANTS FOR HEAT TRANSFER DEVICES

Refrigeration composition containing a fluoro or hydrofluoroalkane working fluid and as a lubricant an amine initiated end capped polyalkoxylate, e.g. piperazine initiated methyl endcapped polypropylene. The lubricant has an intrinsic viscosity of at least 14 cSt at 100 DEG C and has an upper miscibility temperature of at least 55 DEG C at a weight ratio of 1:9 with the working fluid.
