<p>The invention proposes an apparatus and the corresponding method for the production of prestamped segments consisting of several layers of pressed powders, said layers being arranged alongside each other on a horizontal plane. The machine is of the type with a volumetric dispensing valve, in which a valve, subdivided into several compartments alongside each other by one or more internal sheets, slides to end up above a die, where a punch comes down to determine the volume of the pressing chamber, which is filled with powders arranged in adjacent layers.
