PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture a ferrite sintered body having little large pores. CONSTITUTION:A ferrite is manufactured via a wet mixing process for mixing an additional matter (Ca<2+>)-containing raw material mixture with water, a process for drying the raw material mixture at a temperature of 200 deg.C or higher, a process, wherein a surface layer of the dried matter is removed to a prescribed thickness and an impurity CaSO4 layer deposited on the surface of the dried matter is removed, a process for adding a prescribed amount of an additional matter (Ca<2+>) to the raw material mixture subsequent to the above process and a firing process for solid-phase reacting the raw material mixture subsequent to the above process. |
