PURPOSE:To provide the two-beam optical head for optical information recording/reproducing device provided with a synthesizing means which efficiently synthesizes two reflected beams for reproducing and recording without using two semiconductor lasers different by wavelength neither a wavelength selecting mirror and has a simple and inexpensive optical system. CONSTITUTION:In the two-beam optical head for optical information recording/ reproducing device, the synthesizing means which synthesizes a first light beam emitted from a first laser light source 1 and a second light beam emitted from a second laser light source 2 is constituted of a prism 7 provided with the slope which totally reflects the first light beam and refracts the second light beam and allows the second light beam to pass through. |
