PURPOSE:To realize cost reduction by reducing the capacity of oil pump and a motor for operating the oil pump. CONSTITUTION:The hybrid vehicle travels while driving an engine 11 or a first motor 12. A first oil pump 17 operable through rotation of the engine 11 operates in high rotation region and feeds oil at least for the purpose of engaging a friction engaging element. A second motor 92 being driven independently from the first motor 12 is also provided and a second oil pump 93 operable through rotation of the second motor 92 feeds oil at least for the purpose of cooling the first motor 12. First oil pump 17 having low delivery per single rotation can be used because rotation is transmitted to the first oil pump 17 from the engine 11 having high r.p.m.
