PURPOSE:To automate selection which is conventionarily set by a display screen scroll by taking a long time in an ID logic type data mounting radio receiver. CONSTITUTION:When an operation part 9 manually inputs the state name of the present position of a vehicle, a microcomputer 6 controls a PLL circuit 5 and a front end 1 to automatically search receptible stations in the area to store the frequencies of stations inpustted by not less than a prescribed level by the stations ranging from five to ten. Then, they are successively compared with respective city tables 11a, 11b,... in an ID logic memory 8 storing receptible station frequency data at each city to specify the table of the city of the highest coincident rate of the frequency so as to automatically set the vehicle's own position, to display the specified city name on a display part 7 and to receive the broadcasting of the corresponding city. |
