PURPOSE:To obtain a brushless DC motor having a high efficiency and low noise by employing two Hall elements to be used as magnetic sensors for sensing poles and transmitting an attitude of a magnet rotor to a control circuit. CONSTITUTION:In the case of disposing to detect an opposite pole, Hall elements 6-1, 6-2, of a control circuit 27 turn, when detecting an N-pole of a magnet rotor 12, ON N-pole ON transistors 36-1, 36-2, while they turn, when detecting an S-pole, ON S-pole ON transistors 37-1, 37-2. Outputs are connected to input pins 42, 43, 44, 45 of AND gates 41-1, 41-2 to perform logical operation. When the gate 41-1 produces an output, a push-pull transistor 48-1 is turned ON to turn ON power transistors 51-1, 52-1 thereby to open a conducting circuit to a motor armature coil 5 to supply a current. When the gate 41-2 produces an output, the transistors 51-2, 52-2 are turned ON to supply a reverse current. |
