The monitor uses the weight of the container to gauge its contents. A support frame has a lever arm (3a) from which the fire extinguisher container is suspended. A weighing beam (3), carries an adjustable counter-weight at its opposite end, which is associated with a contact device. The lever arm, which supports the container, has a cross-beam (4) at the max. spacing from the bearing point. At least one perpendicular limb (6) extends parallel to the lever arm in the direction of the bearing point, to which the support (11) for the container is attached at a short distance from the bearing point. ADVANTAGE - Simple, compact device for accurate evaluation of container weight and hence container contents, with simple adjustment and regular testing of weight-loss in short time.
