PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user that a container is full of removed developer before such a state by informing the exchange of a cartridge based on the detected result by a developer amount detection means and then inhibiting the image forming operation of a device main body after forming images by a specified number of sheets. SOLUTION: When a toner storage part 11B in a cleaning container 11 is full of removed toner, the engine controller of a device main body informs that a state where the container 11 is full of the removed toner comes soon (or informing the exchange of the cartridge). At such a time, the removed toner hardly exists in a toner carrying part 11A, and the removed toner is successively stored from the inner side of the carrying part 11A even when printing is performed by the specified number of sheets after informing beforehand. Before the carrying part 11A is full of the removed toner the engine controller informs that the container 11 is full of the toner. In such a case, it is good to inhibit the image forming operation of the device main body after forming the image by the specified number of sheets after informing beforehand. |
