The method reinforces and afforests the rocky slopes at both sides of a road to prevent the rocky slopes from collapsing. The method comprises the steps of : installing a coir net, woven by filaments made from a coconut, over the rocky area, and fixing the coir net by an anchor; spraying water over the coir net to wet sufficiently the coir net; laying a mixture on the coir net in a thickness of 10-15 cm. The mixture is made by mixing 50-70 weight % of coir dust, 3-8 weight % of an organic fertilizer, 4-6 weight % of a pulp, 10-20 weight % of adhesive earth particles and 5-15 weight % of grass seeds.
