Infrastructure for distributed object manager component control system

The infrastructure (2) has a number of distributed object manager components (4-16), each with at least one object manager (30). Each object is assigned an internal identification and a make type, used by the object manager (20-30) in the object management. Pref. a discontinuous communication system controlled by a server is used for communication within the distributed control system having a number of monitoring devices and associated processing units at distributed monitoring points.
