FITNESS AND EXERCISE APPARATUS

Apparatus for assisting with physical fitness and exercise is described which consists basically of a tripod frame. The frame has three legs (1) which taper together near the top and are connected together via a connector member (2). The legs may have ground engaging feet or, for example, may fit into an appropriate base. The shape of the legs is not straight, but rather arched to assist with the exercise regime. The overall height of the tripod is rather greater than that of the user. The range of exercises with which the tripod may be usefully employed can be enhanced by the use of attachments to the tripod legs, e.g. platform, slings or loops, which may be elastic or inelastic. The user may also stand on a turntable.
