PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance ink absorptiveness, and prevent an ink absorption layer from suffering from film defects such as cracks or bursts by providing an ink absorption layer consisting of amorphous silica fine particles being synthesized by a gaseous phase method on a polyester film support body having cavities on its surface. SOLUTION: An ink layer containing amorphous silica fine particles synthesized by a gaseous phase method is provided on a polyester film support body having cavities on its surface. The silica fine particles are amorphous silica being fine particles that is composed of 93% SiO2 or more at a dry basis, 15% Al2O3, or less, and 5% or less Na2O in a dry basis; as it is so called, white carbon, silica gel, fine powder silica, or the like. Preferably, a cavity size on the surface of the polyester film is about 0.1-10 μm in diameter, and about 1-70 μm in depth. In particular, a surface area of the silica fine particles is preferable to be about 100 m/g or more at a measured value by a BET method. |
