The invention refers to an axially driven flow metre equipped with a Woltmann turbine, designed for measuring the amount of drinking water that flows through a pipe. The turbine-equipped flow metre consists of an axial flow turbine (C), reduction units (B and C) and a recording mechanism (E). According to the invention, the flow metre is equipped with a helix (3) that is attached to permanent magnets (4), positioned at equal intervals on a circumference. A worm (5) of the reduction unit (B) forms one piece with other permanent magnets (9) positioned in a similar way to those on the above mentioned helix (3). The two sets of permanent magnets (4 and 9) are separated by a front wall (10).
