PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with various type barrels capable of being supported directly openably and closably by a barrel of a stationery such as a writing instrument or the like without providing a protrusion such as a clip or the like in the barrel-like stationery with a cover to be openably closed by the openable cover supported by the barrel at a main surface such as a stamp surface or character erasing surface exposed with the end face of the barrel. SOLUTION: A recess formed at an end of a barrel 1 is removably engaged with a short columnar main body having a main surface such as a stamp surface, a character erasing surface or the like. An opening/closing mechanism containing chamber 6 of an openable and closable cover 3 is provided in the depth of the recess. An arm 31 extending along the barrel 1 in a closed state is provided at the cover 3. The arm 31 is rotatably supported by the chamber 6. An opening force giving mechanism for externally operating is provided in the barrel 1. The mechanism for operating from the barrel 1 moves its output unit to an opening output position to rotate the arm 31 to the open position to open the cover 3. This output unit is moved to a non-output position to reset the arm 31 to the closed position to set the cover 3 to a closed state.
