PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the receiving sheet not generating printing density irregularity, imparting high image quality and excellent in ink absorbability. SOLUTION: A receiving sheet has a sheet-like support and the porous ink receiving layer formed on at least one surface of the sheet-like support and composed of a resin-containing porous film and the average pore size of the surface of the porous ink receiving layer is 0.5-30μm and the density thereof is 0.1-0.8 g/cm<3> and, further, the porous ink receiving layer has a large number of pores formed by applying an air bubble-containing coating soln. prepared by mechanically stirring a resin-containing soln. on at least one surface of the sheet-like support and drying the coated support.
