<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an installation space of a gas-insulated switching device, decreasing its dimensions in both its main-bus direction and the vertical direction thereto, by storing in its main bus container its installation switching device oriented to main-bus performing its opening and closing operations nearly in parallel with its main bus. SOLUTION: In an opposite position on an axis of a main bus to a stationary electrode 4, there is provided a switching mechanism portion 2 fastened to a main bus container 1 via a cover 7. Transmitting to a movable electrode 3 via the switching mechanism portion 2 a driving force fed from a driving device, the movable electrode 3 is operated in parallel with the main bus to open and close a installation switching device 8 oriented oriented to a main-bus. By storing the installation switching device 8 oriented to the main-bus in the main bus container 1, there can be reduced the main-bus directional dimension of a gas-insulated switching device which requires conventionally the dimension of its about one-circuit portion only by its installation switching device oriented to the main-bus. Also, since it is not made protrusive in the vertical direction to the main bus, its dimension in the vertical direction to the main bus can be reduced too. Therefore, the whole of the gas-insulated switching device is miniaturized to make reducible its installation area and the volume of its associated building.</p> |
