<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start transfer of packets between a home network and a remote network by quickly detecting the movement of a LAN terminal between sub- networks. SOLUTION: When LAN terminals 41, 42, 43 has detected the wired connection or wireless connection to a sub-network, or when they detect the wired connection to the sub-network or hand off, or switch the wired connection to the wireless connection, a registration signal is sent. Receiving the registration signal, when a LAN terminal sending the registration signal is not registered, the server 33 sets a packet transfer channel with a home server to start transfer of packets. When the LAN terminal has already been registered, the server 33 continues packet transfer with the home server. Receiving the registration signal, when the LAN terminal sending the registration signal is not registered, the home server 23 finishes the packet transfer with the remote server.</p> |
