Liposomes containing at least one pharmaceutically or cosmetically active ingredient and a photosensitizing substance showing a high degree of absorption at at least one wavelength of a light source, cosmetic or pharmaceutical compositions which contain the liposomes, and a treatment method which uses these compositions; preferably, the photosensitizing substance is indocyanine and the light source is a laser beam emitted by a power diode laser with a wavelength of between 700 and 900 nm.
