ELECTRON GUN FOR COLOR CRT

PURPOSE: An electron gun for color CRT is provided to minimize thermal change by increasing thermal radiation factors of adjacent control electrode and accelerating electrode. CONSTITUTION: The present invention discloses an electron gun for color CRT comprising: a control electrode(G1) determining the size of an electron beam by controlling electron emission quantity from a cathode(101); an accelerating electrode(G2) for attracting activated electrons from the cathode toward a main lens unit; and black substance(c) coated on the surface of the control and accelerating electrodes for increasing the surface thermal radiation factor of the control and accelerating electrodes. The black substance is carbon system.
