The present invention relates to a construction-wise simple staple removing device (1), comprising an abutment element (2), provided with an attachment portion (3), extending with a loop part (4) ending with a beak (5) arranged substantially perpendicular to the attachment portion (3) and provided for engaging a metal staple to be removed. To the abutment element an ejector element (10) is connected, which ejector element (10) comprises a flexible foil element (11) coupled, at one end thereof, to the attachment portion (3) and having the other end portion thereof movable near the beak (5) and engageable with the metal staple for removing it.
