摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to produce color filters free from coloration unevenness by correcting the coloration conditions of color filters in accordance with the area distribution of apertures. SOLUTION: A personal computer 2 derives the fresh coloration conditions of the color filters from measured optical effects, the aperture areas of pixels and the coloration conditions of standard color filters by controlling the entire part of a measuring instrument. In such a case, the correction factors to eliminate the influence of the aperture areas are determined by dividing the aperture areas of the black matrices in the respective pixels by their design values. The ink drop intervals calculated from the transmitted light quantities of the respective pixels of the standard color filters are multiplied by these correction factors. The differences in the aperture areas of the standard color filters are reflected as they are at the ink drop intervals directly calculated from the transmitted light quantities of the respective pixels measured in such a manner and, therefore, the ink drop intervals are corrected by multiplying the ink drop intervals by the correction factors in such a manner that the change components of the transmitted light quantities by the aperture areas are offset and the designed optical effects may be obtained.
