PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct talking natural by shortening the delay time accompanied by a data transformation so that a compressed and encoded speech can be used as it is. SOLUTION: A compressed and encoded speech is stored in a speech teaching material sending part 3, which sends out the compressed and encoded speech according to an instruction from an instructor's terminal 1. This compressed and encoded speech is received by a student's terminal 2, and reproduced by being transformed into an audible speech by a speech decoding part 8 and a compressed speech extending part 6. Then, a talking speech is transformed into an audible speech, without using the compressed speech extending part 6 but using only the speech decoding part 8 for reproduction. Therefore, a delay time accompanied by the data transformation is shortened, and this makes it possible to construct a speech learning system allowing natural talking. |
