PURPOSE: Provided is a method of making sundae sausage using bamboo tree to eliminate the characteristic of sundae odor and conceal the abhorrent appearance of the sundae sausage. The sundae in the bamboo tree is served as it is so that no extra dish is needed. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: inserting the conventionally made sundae sausage into the bamboo; sealing it; boiling for one hour by strong heat so that the white inner bark of the bamboo tree is melt and permeated into sundae; and heating again at low heat. The water used in making sundae is the aqueous extract of bamboo tree obtained by boiling it in water for one hour. The sundae thus made is either a long type by stuffing the content into the empty bamboo tree whose nodes are eliminated or a short type sundae using the natural bamboo tree with the nodes. |
