PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printing plate material capable of being treated in a bright room, directly forming an image by irradiation with an infrared laser, having no fear of the contamination in an exposing device at the time of projecting the infrared laser, and eliminating the need of a special developing process. SOLUTION: The printing plate material includes a layer A composed of a raw material 1 that is water-insoluble or can change the property from water- soluble property to water-insoluble property at a temp. of not less than 60 deg.C, and a raw material 2 that is water-soluble and crystalline and has a melting point in the range of 60-300 deg.C. |
