PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave suppressing body that can be reduced in height and is hard to break and has high permeability. SOLUTION: A protective frame 10 is arranged so as to surround the outer periphery of a ferrite sintered body 1 shaped like a thin plate. A double-faced tape 2 is bonded to the ferrite sintered body 1 so as to cover the bottom surface of the ferrite sintered body 1, and a protective tape 3 is bonded to the top surface of the ferrite sintered body 1. The double-faced tape is also bonded to the protective frame 10 and is integrated to it. Because both surfaces are covered with the tapes, the ferrite sintered body 1 is increased in strength and can be reduced in height. Moreover, even if it is broken, its broken pieces are not jumped out because the tapes are bonded to its top and bottom surfaces, and the protective frame surrounds its side surface.
