PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fat and oil composition having a high content of a vegetable sterol fatty acid ester having an inhibitory action on the absorption of cholesterol, its manufacturing method, and a food using the same. SOLUTION: The fat and oil composition comprises (A) >=18 wt.% vegetable sterol fatty acid ester and (B) a triglyceride.
