PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing communications between a remote communication manager and a set of communication managers within a related group, a data communication apparatus, and a computer program. SOLUTION: The communication manage group is accessible to a resource in common, and any communication manager within the group can recover a failure generated in another communication manager within the group. Concretely, the recovery of an inbound channel and outbound channel having the failure can be attained to improve the usability of data transmission. Synchronous information is preferably used for the recovery, so that the data is recovered to a state having matching property, and the recovery of the channel can be achieved without loss of data integrity.
