PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self oscillating type converter and a power supply, and a control method for them. SOLUTION: In addition to a transformer having a well-known RCC structure, switching device, positive feedback circuit and adjustment/control circuit, a control circuit to which power is partially supplied from the terminal of an opposite polarity by feedback winding of the transformer is provided. All of the undervoltage protection(UVP), overvoltage protection(OVP), and overload protection, as well as a stable output voltage, are achieved by the circuit design of this control circuit.
