PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed sufficient lubricating oil to a high stage (final stage) back room of a high stage (final stage) vane of a high stage (final stage) compressor element in a rotary type multi-stage compressor whose sealed casing is filled with a low stage (initial stage) discharge pressure gas. SOLUTION: In the rotary type multi-stage compressor, the high stage (final stage) back room 16 is disposed under an oil tank reservoir 14 so that the back room serves as a part of the high stage (final stage) compressor element on the discharge side. Accordingly, the lubricating oil to be fed to the high stage (final stage) back room can be secured, so that the durability of the compressor can be improved by the lubricating oil fed to the sliding part of the high stage (final stage) vane and the compression efficiency can be improved by the oil film sealing of the sliding gap of the high stage (final stage) vane.
