PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve the service life of a chain by improving the abrasion resistant characteristic of a sliding part of the chain to be used for a conveyor for carrying the powder material having a high wearing property such as fly ash. SOLUTION: A roller 12 is fitted on a bush 11 freely to be turned, and both ends of the bush 11 are fitted for fixation to bush holes 13a of a pair of inner plates 13. Both ends of a pin 14 inserted into the bush 11 freely to be turned are fitted for fixation to pin holes 15a of a pair of outer plates 15 arranged in both outsides of the pair of inner plates 13. In the chain with this structure, a surface forming at least any one of a sliding part between the roller 12 and the bush 11, a sliding part between the bush 11 and the pin 14, and a sliding part of the roller 12 relative to the chain traveling part is formed with a tungsten carbide group spray layer containing cobalt.
