<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar garnish, which can ensure view in traveling in the rain, and secure a groove of a volume sufficient for making rainwater on a window plate gathered by wipers flow along a rainwater receiving groove with no difficulty. <P>SOLUTION: The front pillar garnish is integrally provided with: a decorated head part 22; a groove wall part W projecting from a back face side of an inward part of the decorated head part 22 to the surface of the window plate to form the rainwater receiving groove 27 in cooperation with the surface of the window plate; and a mounting leg part 24. When attached to a predetermined position of a vehicle body panel B, the groove wall part W is constituted of a first groove wall part W<SB>1</SB>and a second groove wall part W<SB>2</SB>in a longitudinal direction of the pillar garnish GL<SB>1</SB>. The distance from the tip of the inward part of the decorated head part 22 to the second groove wall part W2 is longer than the distance from the tip of the inward part to the first groove wall part W<SB>1</SB>, so that the depth in a direction of a window plate outer peripheral end face 3a of the rainwater receiving groove 27 becomes deep on a lower side of the pillar garnish GL<SB>1</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
