PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key mislaying preventive system without causing an erroneous report, when any person leaves a room when a plurality of persons stay in the room, and even when inviting a visitor when the visitor comes. SOLUTION: This key mislaying preventive system has a door opening-closing detecting means 4 for detecting opening-closing of a door 3, a holder unit 6 for setting an effective transmission range L2 of a transmission radio wave W1 so as to become shorter than a distance L1 up to a wall Wa opposed to the door 3 and constituted so as to be capable of holding a key 5 of the door 3, an antenna 12 arranged in an area A outside of the effective transmission range L2 when its holder unit 6 is positioned in the vicinity UD of the door 3, a human body detecting sensor 7 for setting the substantial whole of the room R as a detecting range except for the vicinity UD of the door 3 inside of the room R, and a speaker 2 for notifying mislaying of the key 5; and issues a warning by the speaker 2 when the human body is not detected by the human body detecting sensor 7 by receiving the transmission radio wave W1 by the antenna 12 when detecting the opening-closing of the door 3 by the door opening-closing detecting means 4.
