PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash unsusceptible to wear and damages and having improved durability, where whether the inner and outer sashes are at a normal closure position is sensed by utilizing the rotation of a crescent lock handle, and the crescent lock handle can be rotated in the direction to lock the sashes only when they are at the normal closure position. SOLUTION: A crescent lock 10 having a larch 9 that extends toward an outer sash 4 while moving by the rotation of a handle 8 is provided at a meeting part 5c of the inner sash 3 where to sashes meet, and a crescent receiver 11 with which the latch 9 engages is provided at a meeting part 6c of the outer sash 4 where the two sashes meet. A irrotation system 14 is provided on the handle rotation side including the latch 9 to prevent the handle 8 from rotating in excess of a predetermined angle between the positions of crescent unlock and lock, and a release system 15 for releasing the irrotation system 14 by a reaction force to the handle 8 rotating and bringing into contact with the crescent receiver 11 in order to rotate the handle 8 to the locking position, when the inner and outer sashes 3 and 4 are at the normal closure position, and a spring 34 for giving or not giving impetus to the handle 8 in the direction of unlocking or locking position.
