PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device for a sliding door with a finger hook section exclusive fro closing the door capable of hook a finger when the sliding door is closed. SOLUTION: The handle device for the sliding door is designed so that a left recessed section 10'L and a right recessed section 10'R are formed on the left-right both sides of a handle body 20 under the state, in which the handle body 20 is housed in the recessed section 10' of a case body 10. A handle section 21' capable of gripping the handle body 20 is installed to one side section of the handle body 20 through the left recessed section 10'L when a latch lock or the like of the sliding door are released, and a finger hook section 23 capable of hooking a finger is set to the other side section of the handle body 20 through the right-side recessed section 10'R when the opened sliding door 1 is closed at that time. A sliding packing 16 is arranged around the opening of a case-body base section 11, to which a rocking body 40 is passed, and sure waterproofness is attained. |
