An air spring for improving crimp force in an air suspension for a vehicle is provided to fasten an airbag firmly in compressing or expanding the air spring by increasing fixing force of a crimp assembling end in a stepped sill. The end of an airbag(3) is fastened by a crimp assembling end(A), and the airbag is stored in a protector(4) combined with a vehicle body and deformed by a piston plate(2) according to the road surface. An extender(7) is folded doubly, formed in the lower part of the airbag, and placed in the stepped sill of the piston plate. A reinforcing member is inserted to the double folded portion to protrude the extender, and the double folded end of the extender is formed to be thicker than other portions of the extender by forming a circular extension end(9). A first stepped sill(5) is formed in the piston plate to contact and store the extender, and a second stepped sill(6) is connected to the first stepped sill and recessed to place the reinforcing member. |
