<p>A playback apparatus and a playback method using the same are provided to superimpose a plurality of video data items through first and second blend processing units while restricting the load peak within a predetermined range. A playback apparatus comprises an output unit, a first blend processing unit(120), and a second blend processing unit(30). The output unit outputs main video data, sub-video data used as an auxiliary video, cursor data for displaying a cursor, graphic data for displaying operation guidance, and sub-picture data for displaying a subtitle. The first blend processing unit supervises the sub-video data, the sub-picture data, the cursor data, and the graphic data. The second blend processing unit superimposes the superimposed data obtained by the first blend processing unit and the main video data.</p> |
