PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a yellow ink composition having excellent color reproducibility by making the ink composition include specific two kinds of dyes at a specific weight ratio and in specific amounts. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including (A) C.I.direct yellow 86 and (B) C.I.direct yellow 132 in a weight ratio (A/B) of (1/3)-(3/1), preferably (1/2)-(2/1) and each component of 0.3-3.0 wt.%, preferably 0.5-2.0 wt.%. The composition may contain an organic solvent dissolving the components A and B, water, an anionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, a natural or synthetic water-soluble polymer or an inorganic salts, etc., as necessary. Preferably, (C) C.I. acid red 52 and (D) C.I. acid red 289 in a weight ratio (C/D) of (1/2)-(2/1) and each component of 0.3-2.5 wt.% are contained in the composition to obtain a Magenta ink composition. The yellow ink composition and the Magenta ink composition may combinedly be used. |
