FIELD: processes for plastic working of metals, namely production of tubes by drawing, possibly manufacture of precision capillary tubes designed for using in nuclear industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of drawing tube blank onto long mandrel at elongation factor 1.1 - 2.4; working tube with mandrel by means of rolling bodies and performing mandrel-free drawing of tube at elongation factor 1.1 - 1.7. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and stability of tube diameter and wall thickness, similar high quality of inner and outer surfaces of tubes, less loss of yield. ^ 1 tbl, 1 ex |
