PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate shift of color balance corresponding to a print head by generating an amount for correcting the total reproducibility based on a shift acquired for individual density and then correcting the quantity of recording material to be used. SOLUTION: A color image data is inputted from an image input unit 10 to an image processor 20 and processed. The image processor 20 comprises an individual shift acquiring means C1 and a control means C2 and when the individual shift acquiring means C1 acquires a specified shift of image data by selecting a combination of achromatic color using a plurality of element colors substantially uniformly, it acquires the shaft individually for respective element colors depending on the density. Based on a shift thus obtained, the control means C2 generates an amount for correcting the total reproducibility and corrects the quantity of recording material to be used by an image output unit 30 based on the correction amount. |
