PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization and cost reduction by not using a step-up coil as winding for a transformer simultaneously, in a voltage conversion device which requires two winding components: step-up coil and transformer. SOLUTION: A power source battery 12 is connected to a bidirectional inverter 16 via the transformer 13, and a bridge circuit 14 is connected between the power source battery 12 and the transformer. The first winding 13a of the transformer 13, the bridge circuit 14, and a capacitor 15 constitute a step-up circuit 18. An H-bridge circuit 20 is connected to the second winding 13b of the transformer 13, and a system power source connection portion is connected to another H-bridge circuit 21 via a filter 24. A controller 31 controls each of switching elements S1-S12 in such a way that, when the power source battery 12 is stepped up, electric power is not supplied to the power source connection portion and that, when the power source battery 12 is charged by a system power source, the step-up circuit 18 does not function.
