PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make cogging torque into a sine-wave shape in a multiple-phase claw-pole type motor. SOLUTION: In a multiple-phase claw-pole type motor, each magnet constituting a rotor is molded so that a gap in-between a magnetic-pole face has a narrow central part and wide circumferential both sides while a gap is provided between each magnet. By this, it suppresses the occurrence of cogging torque due to manufacturing errors between phases. Consequently, it is possible to obtain a smoothly rotating motor that has a small torque pulsation.
