An apparatus and a method thereof for analyzing traffic data transmitted between a master device and a plurality of slave devices and a communications state are provided to analyze a communication state between the master apparatus and the slave apparatus at low cost. A master device(500) performs a communications request. A plurality of slave apparatuses(510) performs communications response according to the communications request of the master device. According to the filtering criteria that a plurality of slave devices is set up, the communications state analysis function is performed. A computer(530) is selectively connected to a plurality of slave devices. The computer sets up the communications state analysis function and filtering criteria to the connected slave device.
