A method, a system and a base station for sending information of a base station are provided. Wherein, the base station brings the base station attribute information into a broadcast message, and sends it to the access equipments within its coverage. By this way, the access equipments within the coverage of the base station are provided with the base station attribute information of themselves. Therefore, when an access equipment is in the coverage of multiple base stations, it can receive the base station attribute information of multiple base stations which can be accessed, and it can select the most appropriate base station to access according to the base station attribute information of multiple base station.
