PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal alignment agent that has excellent ultraviolet degradation resistance and can form a liquid crystal display element without a mura defect, a liquid crystal alignment film that is formed of the liquid crystal alignment agent, and a liquid crystal display element that has the liquid crystal alignment film.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal alignment agent includes a polymer (A), polysiloxane (B), photo polymerization compound (C), and solvent (D). The polymer (A) is obtained by reacting a mixture. The mixture includes a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride component (a1) and a diamine component (a2). The polysiloxane (B) includes a polymerizable unsaturated group, and the polymerizable unsaturated group includes a group represented by the formula (1-1), a group represented by the formula (1-2), or a combination of the two.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
