摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new saccharification-type BPMG which consists of a saccharification-type bisphosphoglyceric acid mutase(BPGM) obtained by combining glucose with the lysine residue in a specific position in the molecule and permits the diagnosis or the like of diabetes by the measurement of BPGM using an antibody against it. SOLUTION: This BPGM is a new saccharification-type bisphosphoglyceric acid mutase (BPGM) obtained by combining glucose with the number 158 lysine residue (Lys) in the molecule and is used in the convenient and exact measurement of saccharification-type BPGM using an antibody against it and the application or the like to the diagnosis for diabetes. This saccharification-type BPGM is obtained by linking two exons in widely known human BPGM gene all at once by means of PCR method using a primer comprising of the partial sequence obtained by using the chromosomal DNA arising from human placenta as a mold to obtain a gene coding for human BPGM, integrating this gene into an expression plamid to transform E. coli and cultivating the resultant transformant in a culture medium.
