PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To press-fit a part in a work exactly and quickly by providing a holding part capable of holding and releasing the part after heating set on a positioning part and a press fitting tool pushing the part held with a holding part into the part embedding hole of a work set on a working bench to be press fitted and capable of reciprocatingly movable. SOLUTION: A part 3 carried by a carrying body 4 is fed to a heating part 5 provided on the ahead of the carrying body 4 to be heated. The part 3 heated by the heating part 5 is fed to a positioning part 6 provided beyond it. The part 3 positioned on the positioning part 6 is held with a holding part 7. A press fitting tool 9 is brought down to push the holding part 7 positioned on the positioning part 6 against the part 3, and the part 3 is sucked to be held with the holding part 7. The press fitting tool continues to descend in the state to push down the part 3.
